33 Weeks

How far along? 33 weeks
Baby is the size of a: Durian Fruit (what?? This app I have is so strange).
Total weight gain: around 20 pounds so far...
Maternity clothes? Omg yes, though I wore a non materninty dress the other day but it looked more like a long shirt with leggings underneath ;)
Stretch marks? Not that I've seen so far. Fingers crossed!
Sleep: Yes please! Sleep is hit or miss for me these days. Usually after a night of work I sleep great... On my nights off, not so much. I'm up to use the restroom like every 2-3 hours, my hips are achy, and baby girl is pushing up on my lungs so it's harder and harder to breath!
Exercise: I walk to the mailbox sometimes. Does that count? Oh and up and down the stairs at work (usually... I've been taking the elevator sometimes too). I did get my exercise ball all blown up and ready to use more often though so there's that.
Miss Anything: Now this is a loaded question! I guess the obvious would be wine... And being able to put my shoes on!
Movement: I'm still feeling her move a lot but it's different - it's bigger movements instead of just little kicks and flutters. She's just running outta room in there!
Food cravings: Nothing too specific... But my sweet tooth is pretty out of control lately :) cookies and cake and muffins are always on my mind haha.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Jeremy and I both unfortunately got really bad colds this last week... They both only lasted a few nights and we both were lucky enough to have or get the nights off from work. Mine has stuck around in the form of wheezy-ness and a cough but I think that it's partially having to do with baby girl taking up so much space and pressing on my lungs!
Labor Signs: Not yet! Maybe feeling some practice contractions (Braxton hicks).
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! But I do get a bit whiney at times just because I'm uncomfortable but I try to keep that to myself (or just complain to Jeremy!).
Looking forward to: Meeting baby girl! But before that seeing all my family and friends at the various baby showers I have coming up- I'm feeling so blessed already by all of the love and support!

32 Weeks

2 months//8 weeks to go... Wow! The mix of emotions I'm feeling about this is pretty crazy. Overall I'm very excited though because honestly, I am getting quite large and uncomfortable! My sciatic pain has been almost non-existent lately so that has been great, but my belly is growing and stretching so much it gets achy - and probably because baby girl is moving around SO much. Here are a couple belly pics for this week....

I posted that second picture not so you could see my messy slippers on, but because do Cutter. He seriously is at my side ALL the time now! I had previously been saying that I didn't think he knew anything was up but the past week or so he has been much more protective! If I'm in the shower he is laying on the bathmat, if I'm on the computer he's on my feet, eating dinner at the table - he's underneath on top of my feet there too! Yes this all sounds like normal dog behavior, but Cutter is usually always at Jeremy's side so that's where things have changed! Kinda cute, kinda annoying ;)

My protector at the bathroom door as I got ready for work the other night.

29 Weeks

Time is really starting to fly by, seems like just yesterday I was finding out I was pregnant. Ok that's a lie, it actually seems like a really long time! I'd be lying if I said a nice big glass of wine didn't sound amazing right about now :) but I will happily abstain for another few months - I want this little girl as healthy as possible! So far she seems to be growing well... At my appointment today my doctor said "wow your belly is ALL baby!". She also said I've gained an appropriate amount of weight (which if you're dying to know is about 20 pounds) - she said I could and might gain about a pound a week until the baby is born, ah! That's a lot more weight! How is my body handling it so far you ask? Well, I have good days and bad days... After my prenatal massage Wendsesday, the good days are more frequent this week! Last week my sciatic pain was close to unbearable at times.... Made for VERY long 12 hour shifts at work. I'm hopeful this weekend will be better (and I've scheduled another massage in a few weeks... Might have to move it up a week if it gets bad again!).

In other news, we have snow! About 3-5 inches surprisingly. Kona is loving running around in it, and then plopping down by the fire to dry off. Jeremy and I have been luckily enough to have the last two nights off but we both go back to work tomorrow night so fingers crossed the weather gets better or at least doesn't get any worse. Have I mentioned how much I love my commute to work now that it's only about 15 minutes?!

Some pictures from this week:

<--- Brr!

Drinking the glucose drink... You have to chug it within five minutes then come back and hour later to get your blood drawn. It was like a room temperature sprite with a ton of extra syrup in it. Not so good!

Kona enjoying the snow!

(Feeling large and in charge... There's no mistaking this baby bump!)

The baby nursery is coming along as well- the crib is set up & this picture shows Jeremy working on the dresser. Can't wait to start filling it with adorable little outfits :)

21

Over halfway there, I can't believe it!! Time has gone slowly so far but I have a feeling it will zoom by these next few months. I Had my anatomy and gender ultrasound right before Thanksgiving - the doctor reports that everything looks great so far so that's great to hear! She also confirmed that the radiologist agreed with the technician, it's a GIRL! I didn't have much of a feeling one way or the other until that morning, I really thought it was going to be a boy! Of course Jeremy was hoping for a boy, so we were both quite surprised when the tech said girl! I couldn't be happier, I just wanted a healthy baby and so far we have that. Fingers and toes crossed that she continues to grow and stays healthy in there :)

17 Weeks (and 4 days)

I feel like I've gained a million pounds lately (it's more like 5 though) - but this picture just looks like my weight has shifted around a little?! Anyways, I'm definetly loving my materninty pants these days.
