Vacation (2) .Cape Cod.

After a full day in the city my dad drove us down to the Cape where we would spend the rest of our time. My grandma has a "beach house" right on the water near Buzzards Bay so it's super relaxing and has some amazing sunsets!  Jeremy and I also enjoyed walking around during low tide looking for oysters, mussles, clams, shells, etc... we found a lot, but were never brave enough to eat anything.  The last day we were there the neighbors let us go out on their boat with them - Jeremy got to help pull lobster pots and luckily there was a live one in one of the pots!  We got to take it home and we enjoyed it for a little afternoon snack :)  While on the cape we also spent some time driving around with my parents, my dad loves playing tour guide, so we saw lots of sites and ate lots of great seafood.

Again check shutterfly for the majority of pics, but here are a few from my phone:

Steps at my grandma's place... used to spend hours and hours playing here when I was younger

Gorgeous view.

Stairs down to the beach.... I adore these stairs!

All the shells in front of the rock are from the seagulls - they grab live clams and then drop them on the rock to open them :)

Onset Beach.

Lobster caught by Jeremy and the neighbors.

Onset.

Vacation! .Boston.

Jeremy and I were lucky enough to get a week off work at the same time to go visit Boston and Cape Cod. My dad's side of the family is all over there, I used to go visit all the time when I was younger but it had been like 5 years since I had been - Jeremy had never been or met that side of the family!

We arrived in Boston and spent one night in the city, our hotel was literally steps away from Faneuil Hall Marketplace... and of course only steps away from a Dunkin Donuts!  Mmm. So we spent the first two days touring around the city, eating and drinking the whole time - I will be posting a TON of pictures from the trip on Shutterfly but here are some of the city from my phone.

See iphone pics below:
WELCOME TO BOSTON!  Now walk about two miles to pick up your bag....

Sam Adams, Boston Brick Red - awesome beer, we had it everywhere we could because it's only sold right in Boston!  Hope someday they bottle it and sell it...

AWESOME CLAM CHOWDER HERE!
And the waitresses are pretty funny too. Ours fed my dad the food he left on his plate :)
