Happy Halloween!

We spent the weekend down in Corvallis at the Oregon State football game!   The beavs easily won the game, and the rain stayed away for the most part..  Later that night Jeremy and I had a little too much fun - apparently we thought we were still college kids ;)  Ah well, we had great costumes and a great time.

Beach Overnighter!

Jeremy and I both had a Sunday and Monday off so we decided to head out to the coast... we originally planned to go to Cannon Beach because it's been forever since we've stayed there but due to a big accident on Hwy 101 we ended up going south and staying in Lincoln City.  I am a big idiot and packed along my nice Canon camera buuuuuut forgot a memory card.  Please don't ask how many times I've done this. It's just not even funny anymore.  I keep saying I will buy like 20 and just place one in each purse and bag that I own. But I haven't, yet :)

beauty from hwy 101

Driving south on Highway 101 last weekend we came across a "viewpoint" which was perfect timing - the sun was setting and the sky was looking amazing. I didn't have a memory card in my DSLR (Canon) camera so I did the best I could with my iPhone. So beautiful.

Date Night.

Jeremy and I finally got a chance to go out for Happy Hour a week or so ago!   He has transitioned into a full time position with set hours, but it is evening shift so makes it hard for us to ever find time to go out to dinner... especially since I don't really have set hours or shifts.  But, I love trying new food and drink downtown - there are SO many cute little places. I even have a "Happy Hour" book and I keep bugging Jeremy about trying all the places from it. The place we went last week is in the book, but had also come highly recommended by co-workers: Portland City Grill. I only took a few pictures as seen below, but this place is on the 30th floor of one of the tallest buildings downtown so has amazing views. It also has great food and drinks. I was very impressed and will hopefully be returning sooner then later :) 

The next couple of pics are just from the street downtown, we were waiting for the max to pick us up. It was a great evening, so warm during the day and stayed warm thru the evening.
